So uhh, I think I have to start from the beginning so you get the idea what I mean.

I love comics and have been wanting to make one for a.. well, a very long time already. But I have this problem that I'm not very good writer (actually I'm quite horrible at that.. : D) and to me it's very hard to came up with good and interesting stories/scripts. I'm more like the person who would like to draw comics, but with script/story which is written by someone else.

And now we come to my question.
I have been reading very good book lately and now I was wondering that would I be violating copyright rules if I make a comic which is based to that book? I mean like that if I use the book as a script to that comic. I know that if I do it just to my own amusement and experiment it's ok, but what if I would like to show it on internet? For example here or Smack Jeeves, ect.? And I also know that if I would publish it and sell it, THEN it would be against the copyright rules, but of course I have NO intentions to do like that. I just would like to do it for fun and for experiment, like I said before.

But what do you think, is that okay or not?

...My comic-blog, I mean! I decided to start new one all over again. It's only in Finnish for now, but I'll probably translate them later on and post them on my sketch-blog. : ) But anyway! Here you go, my comic-blog!

Art-trades?
I have so much free time now and I want to draw/paint something so badly, but I'm kinda out of ideas. I was wondering that would anyone be interested to do art-trade with me?
Mostly I'd like to do painting stuff with watercolors/gouache or other/mixed traditional-medium.
Sending finished pieces is fine with both ways; Sending by snail-mail or high-quality scan by e-mail.

I'm completely broke and I need some help to pay my last rent before it gains too much interest rate. So I'm trying again opening commissions, hopefully with better luck at this time. I thought that there would be couple of slots at first and maybe later more, we'll see.

Shipping and packing is not included to the prizes, and I'll check them from post-office for every work before payment, so I wont charge too much. If you don't want original work, I can only send to you a high quality scan and then naturally you don't need to pay shipping. Work will be send when payment shows on my account.

I'll draw mostly anything, your OC, fanart, scenery.. You name it.
I try to keep costs as low as I can, and those prizes are only directional, we can discuss about them.
